Terms of Service

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Account types (member, business, community) determine the features available to you.
• You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to use Makaani.

• Membership is paid yearly by bank transfer. The fee is shown at checkout before you pay.
• You transfer the fee and send us the proof. A member of the team checks it against our account, and your membership runs for one year from the day it clears.
• We hold no card details and nothing renews automatically. When your year is up you choose whether to pay for another.
• Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

You agree not to:

• Use Makaani for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
• Post content that infringes others’ rights or violates any law.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Misuse other members’ information obtained through the platform.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (listings, profile details, and similar). By posting it, you grant Makaani the permission needed to host and display that content as part of running the service. You’re responsible for the content you provide and for having the rights to share it.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or to protect the service and its members.

Makaani is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated to you. Continuing to use Makaani after a change means you accept the updated terms.
